Maintain a presence with your listening audience - whether they
are listening or not! The "broadcast alert" feature enables you
to send out text alerts
of information that is valuable to them, whether
it is to keep them tuned in or to get them to tune in. Provide additional benefits to your advertisers! Assign "Text Message Alert" codes to specific on-air advertisers. Offer them a "Be alerted when the new arrivals come into East Side Toyota, text 12345" feature to be included within their campaign on your station(s). Explain how they (advertiser) will be able to send Text Message Alerts to your listeners already demonstrating an interest in their product (or service). Tell them your station will handle sending out the alerts as often as needed for the duration of their campaign. As a result: 1) Your station(s) develops a specific lead list for the client for follow-up marketing at no additional cost to the client. 2) Your station(s) maintains the opt-in information from the listeners/consumers of when they respond to the commercial. (Imagine proof that their morning drive spot generated 3 times the leads of evenings!!) 3) Come renewal time, the advertiser has a list of a specific number of leads they "lose" if they don't continue the campaign. If the advertiser still does not wish to continue, you have information of value to a competitor, such as "North Side Toyota". 4) Your station(s) has additional audience profiles since your station would manage the various text marketing lists. Exclusive data such as "38% of our text respondents are interested in personal electronics". Note: This is a separate concept from your ability to sell "Text Sponsorships" such as "East Side Toyota scoreboard - Rangers 2 Lions 1 - Final". |
